Cerulean Blue Hue in a 1 litre bottle for skies and seas

A litre of Cerulean Blue Hue suits mural skies, ocean backdrops and classroom seascapes that need a lot of clear mid blue.

The bottle label prints Cerulean Blue Hue with a half-filled circle and Semi-Transparent, followed by Lightfastness Rating 1 and pigment PB.15, with "Lightfast Heavy Body Acrylic" printed above in the Atelier A2 panel. Sky blue with a slight green lean shows in the swatch, turning paler in the thin section, and the bottle body photographs as a bright mid blue.

Skies and water usually take up the largest share of a mural or landscape, so a litre of cerulean saves a group from running dry halfway through. Teachers can portion it into trays for a whole class seascape and cap the bottle for the next session.

A cerulean seascape lesson needs canvas boards for each student, trays and water pots from painting supplies and art smocks; the deeper blues to sit beside this one are in the A2 acrylic paints.
