A Backless Stool For Benches, Counters And Raised Desks

The Buro Polo drafting stool, code 51352, sets a round black PU seat on a drafting gas lift with a metal foot ring, for people who work at bench or counter height.

Buro list a seat height range of 650 to 900mm, reached with a 245mm drafting gas lift that is adjusted from the ring under the seat. The seat is 370mm across and tilts through 360 degrees, so the person on it can rock side to side and swivel instead of staying fixed in one position. The metal foot ring also adjusts for height, which matters on a stool this tall because feet no longer reach the floor.

Floors differ from room to room, so Buro pack both castors and glides in the box. Fit the castors, which Buro describe as weight lock, where the stool has to move along a bench, or the glides where it should stay where it is put. The overall footprint is listed at 635mm wide by 610mm deep.

No. The Polo is a round backless stool with a tilting seat. If you want a backrest at drafting height, the Buro Elan and Force drafting chairs both have mesh backs.
Usually not. Buro list the seat height at 650 to 900mm, which is set for benches, counters and raised standing desks rather than a standard height desk.
Both are in the box. Buro describe the castors as weight lock, and the glides suit spots where the stool should stay in one place.
