Mesh Back Seating Raised To Counter And Bench Height

The Buro Elan Drafting Chair in black, code 159A-M3-AT, lifts a mesh back chair to drafting height and adds a foot ring and locking castors for work at raised surfaces.

Buro list the seat height at 665 to 920mm, well above an ordinary office chair, so it pairs with standing desks run high, laboratory benches, design tables and service counters. The foot ring adjusts for height and is finished in shiny black powder coat. The arms adjust for both height and width, and the lumbar pad on the mesh back moves up and down.

The castors are weight-on locking types: they hold still once someone sits down and roll again when the chair is empty, which keeps a tall chair from drifting back from the bench. No. Buro list a seat height of 665 to 920mm, which is meant for raised benches, counters and standing desks. At a standard height desk the seat would sit too high.
