Black Mesh, Grey Seat And No Arms To Get In The Way

Buro Force code 799-3-M3 is the armless version of the Force office chair with a black frame, black base and black mesh back over a grey upholstered seat.

The mechanism is what Buro call Dynamic Intelligence, with the seat and backrest angle moving in sync as the sitter reclines. A seat slide changes how far the front edge reaches, over a depth range Buro give as 450 to 500mm, and the lumbar pad behind the mesh rises and lowers. On the gas lift the seat travels from 440 to 535mm.

Without arms the chair clears the edge of a desk or table and is easy to get in and out of at a crowded bank of workstations. Should arms be needed, the matching black set is code 185-3, which Buro list among the Force custom options. The overall size Buro give is 675mm wide, 580mm deep and 1005 to 1100mm high, and their guarantee is 10 years excluding upholstery, with conditions.

Buro list the Force armrests as a custom option, with 185-3 in black to match this frame and 185-2 in light grey.
No. Only the seat is grey. The frame, base and mesh back are black. The light grey frame version with a black seat is 799-2-M3.
Buro's Force spec sheet lists none, although ACCO's page quotes a figure. Because the two sources do not agree, we have not published one.
