Wireless label and wristband printing with an on board menu

The Brother TD-2350D is a direct thermal desktop printer that prints up to 59 mm wide on roll stock from 15 mm to 63 mm, with Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, wired Ethernet, USB-C and a monochrome LCD.

Brother lists the supported media as wristbands, continuous, die cut, fanfold, perforated and tag stock from 15 mm to 63 mm wide and 0.058 mm to 0.279 mm thick. There is no ribbon and no ink, because direct thermal printing marks the stock itself. Brother's TD-2300 series brochure rates the range at up to 5,000 labels a day and 152.4 mm per second, and Brother notes the 203 dpi build as the Australian one, which is what we supply.

Over the wired TD-2320D this model adds Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, AirPrint and MFi, Mobile Deploy for remote fleet setup, and a seven button menu on the LCD. Brother Australia lists one roll for it, RD-S05C1, now marked a Discontinued Product, and publishes no wristband part code for any TD-2 model, so we confirm wristband stock before despatch.

Direct thermal roll stock only. Brother lists the supported media as wristbands, continuous, die cut, fanfold, perforated and tag stock from 15 mm to 63 mm wide, 0.058 mm to 0.279 mm thick, on rolls up to 127 mm in diameter. Three things it will not take. TZe tape cassettes are the P-touch laminated tape system and there is no cassette bay on this printer. DK rolls are QL series media and appear on no Brother consumables list for it. And RD-S04C1 at 76 mm, RD-M13C5 at 80 mm and the 102 mm RD rolls are all wider than the 63 mm maximum.
No. TZe is Brother's laminated tape cassette system for P-touch labellers and this is a direct thermal roll printer with a spindle less roll holder. There is no cassette bay. If you need TZe tape, you need a P-touch machine, not a TD-2.
Brother Australia's consumables list for this printer names one roll and one only: RD-S05C1 die cut labels, 51 mm x 26 mm, 1500 labels per roll. Brother Australia lists that same roll for the TD-2320D, TD-2350D, TD-2125N, TD-2125NWB, TD-4420DN and TD-4550DNWB, so one roll code covers a mixed fleet. Non Brother roll stock cut to the published media dimensions will also load.
Yes, wristbands are one of the media types Brother lists for it. Wristband stock is supported as a media type, 15 mm to 36 mm wide and 0.107 mm to 0.279 mm thick, but Brother Australia publishes no wristband part code for any TD-2 model, so wristband stock is third party and we confirm the fit before despatch. We list a Brother branded adult wristband at 28 mm wide, which is inside Brother's published width range, but no thickness or core is published for that stock, so ask us and we will confirm it against your printer before you order.
Brother's two documents differ on cores and the difference is worth knowing before you buy stock: the TD-2300 series brochure lists core sizes of 12.7 mm, 19 mm, 25.4 mm, 34.9 mm and 38.1 mm, while Brother's online specification gives a core inner diameter of 12.7 mm. We publish both rather than one, because a roll bought to the wrong core will not load.
Brother lists ZPL II, CPCL, EPL2 and DPL emulation alongside its own Raster, ESC/P and P-touch Template, so a system already sending ZPL label data can usually be pointed at it after adjusting the printer settings. Test your own label templates before a rollout.
Same print engine, same media, same speed. This model adds Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, AirPrint, MFi, Mobile Deploy and an LCD menu, and Brother publishes its weight as 1.53 kg against 1.50 kg for the TD-2320D. It is the right build where the printer has to move, sit away from a network point, or take jobs from phones and tablets.
Brother publishes a machine weight of 1.53 kg but no carton weight. Brother also publishes no wristband part code for any TD-2 model, and its brochure and its online specification disagree about core sizes. Each of those is stated on this page rather than left out.
