The Cheapest Way Into Printed Heat Shrink Tube

The Brother PT-P750W runs Brother HSe heat shrink tube as well as the full TZe range to 24mm, which no other Brother machine under two hundred dollars in our range will do.

That combination is why it lands in comms rooms, switchboards and maintenance workshops. Conductor sleeving and equipment labels come off the same printer, so there is one machine to buy, one to maintain and one set of consumables to stock. Wi-Fi, Wireless Direct and NFC mean a phone can print by tapping the top of the unit, and USB covers the desktop case.

The automatic cutter does both a full cut and a half cut, so laminated labels can be peeled without picking at a corner. P-touch Editor Lite is stored on the printer and starts from the USB connection with no installation, which suits shared and locked down computers.

Replacement cassettes are in the Brother TZe tape range across all six widths, and printed conductor sleeving is in Brother heat shrink tube and speciality media. The 31mm heat shrink cassettes need a Brother PT-P900W or PT-P950NW, so check the width before ordering.

Brother TZe cassettes in 3.5mm, 6mm, 9mm, 12mm, 18mm and 24mm. Twenty four millimetres is the maximum. A 36mm TZe cassette will not fit, and for that you need a PT-P900W, PT-P910BT, PT-E920BT or PT-P950NW.

Yes, and this is the least expensive machine in our range that does. Brother lists the HSe cassettes for this model covering 5.2mm, 9.0mm, 11.2mm and 21.0mm on 3:1 ratio tube. The 31mm HSe cassettes do not fit, and those need a PT-P900W or PT-P950NW.

Hold an NFC capable Android phone against the marked area on the top of the printer and it connects without going through Wi-Fi setup. Wireless Direct and standard Wi-Fi infrastructure connection are both supported as well, and iOS devices connect over Wi-Fi.

A half cut slices the label but not its backing paper, so a run of labels stays joined and each one peels off cleanly without you having to pick at the corner. It only works on laminated tape.

No. The PT-P750W is driven from a phone, tablet or computer. There are indicator lamps for status, battery, Wi-Fi and NFC on the unit. If you want a keyboard, look at the PT-D610BT for TZe or the PT-E560BTVP for heat shrink work.

Yes, with P-touch Editor 5 for macOS. One caveat worth knowing before you buy: Brother states that P-touch Editor for macOS does not support HSe heat shrink cassettes, so heat shrink work needs a Windows machine or a mobile app.
