The Brother PT-E110VP is a trade labeller with cable wrap, cable flag, faceplate and sequential numbering modes built into the keyboard, supplied as a kit with a case and mains adapter.

Electrical and data work needs label shapes that a general office labeller cannot produce. This machine has five dedicated label types on dedicated keys, so a cable wrap that reads correctly once it is around the conductor takes one key press rather than a workaround. Sequential numbering runs a whole terminal block without retyping, and copy print repeats any label up to 50 times.

It takes Brother TZe cassettes in 6mm, 9mm and 12mm, and also accepts HGe tape in the same widths. Two hundred symbols cover electrical, security, audio visual and safety marks. The 16 character graphic display previews the label before tape is spent, which matters when you are on a job with one cassette.

Replacement cassettes are in the Brother TZe tape range in 6mm, 9mm and 12mm. Cable work that needs printed heat shrink tube requires a different machine, such as the Brother PT-E310BTVP or the PT-P750W, and the rest of the range is in Brother P-Touch label makers.

Brother lists 6mm, 9mm and 12mm TZe for this model, plus HGe tape in the same three widths. Twelve millimetres is the ceiling. An 18mm or 24mm cassette will not fit. Brother's support specification page also shows 3.5mm, but the model specific product page does not, so we list only the three widths both sources agree on.

No. The PT-E110VP does not accept HSe heat shrink tube cassettes. If you need printed heat shrink for conductor identification, the PT-E310BT, PT-P700 and PT-P750W all run the HSe range.

It repeats the text around the circumference of the tape so that the label reads correctly whichever way the cable turns after wrapping. Cable flag mode instead leaves a printed tab standing off the cable. Both are on dedicated keys rather than buried in a menu.

Yes. The VP value pack ships with the mains adapter and a carry case. Brother's own documents name the adapter as AD-5000ES in the carton contents and AD-24ES on the product page, so check the label on the unit supplied. Six AAA batteries are not included.

No. Brother lists this model as not PC or Mac connectable. Everything is typed on the machine itself.
