A Half Size Archive Box Bought by the Bale

The Bankers Box 800 is a mini archive box, half the size of a standard carton, sold here as a bulk lot of 500 for records rooms, councils, schools and storage operators that box up smaller files in volume.

Fellowes describe it as a half sized archive box for loose documents, manilla folders or foolscap suspension files, which makes it the box to reach for when a full size carton would sit half empty and sag. The lid is attached and hinges open, so it cannot go missing between the shelf and the desk, and a locking tab holds it shut once the box is full.

Construction is what Fellowes call double bottom, triple end and single side: two layers of board on the base and triple thickness at each end. Fellowes rate it to stack 10 units high, and a finger hole in the end gives you something to pull on when the box sits on a shelf.
