ABC Reading Eggs Octopuss Hand Puppet for Letter O Practice
Octopuss is a soft plush hand puppet from ABC Reading Eggs, matched to the letter O with a capital and lowercase o embroidered on its back.
Each Reading Eggs critter stands for one letter of the alphabet, and Octopuss brings the letter O to life for young learners in K-Prep, Year 1 and Year 2. The publisher describes the character as having eight legs, which gives children something to count and talk about. Children can slip the puppet on, say its name aloud and trace the stitched letters while they talk, sing and role-play.
A hand puppet turns letter practice into play, which helps shy or reluctant children join in. The puppet measures 30 cm, is made from all new materials and suits children aged 3 and over. A gentle hand wash keeps it fresh between classroom and home sessions.
Pair Octopuss with the other Reading Eggs critter puppets and our range of educational books, educational activity books and teacher supplies to set up a cheerful letter corner for early literacy lessons in the classroom or at home.
