Drawing Pencils

The grade scale is the whole language. H grades are hard and leave a light, precise line that holds up for construction work and technical drawing. B grades are soft and dark and lay down tone quickly for shading, at the cost of smudging. HB sits in the middle. Most students need three or four grades rather than a full set of twenty.
