Derwent Drawing Pencil Brown Ochre Box of 6

This listing contains one box of 6 Derwent Drawing Pencils in Brown Ochre (colour number 5700). All pencils are identical in colour and specification, making the box a practical refill or starter supply for regular users.

Derwent Drawing Pencils feature an extra-wide 5mm colour strip set in a larger 8mm diameter barrel - noticeably broader than most standard artist pencils. The soft, creamy core is engineered for smooth, velvety coverage that builds up dense tone with less effort, particularly useful for textures like fur and feathers.

Yes. The Brown Ochre shade is well suited to portrait work and life studies, sitting naturally alongside Sepia tones in the Drawing range. The soft texture blends smoothly, allowing gradual tonal build-up without harsh lines.

Derwent Drawing Pencils perform well on medium-grain drawing paper, cartridge paper, and toned paper. A slightly textured surface helps the wide colour strip deposit pigment evenly. Very smooth or coated papers may reduce blending performance.

This listing is for the box of 6. Derwent Drawing Pencils are supplied in refill cartons of 6, which is the standard unit for this range. Check the full Derwent range on the Mega Office Supplies website for other colours and formats.
