The closure is what you are buying. A slider or double-track seal survives a bag being carried, dropped and reopened where a single press-seal opens in a drawer. Thickness then follows the contents: light film for dry goods, heavier for anything sharp or damp. Label the outside rather than trusting memory. See food containers, kitchenware and storage bins.
