Ziploc mark the pack microwave safe and give the method: vent the bag 2.5cm on one side and sit it on a microwave-safe dish. Their own caution is a burn hazard warning, that bag and contents may be hot, and that the bag can melt if the contents are overheated. Follow their instructions rather than ours.

Ziploc say yes, after hand-washing and drying. They also say they do not recommend reusing a bag that has held raw meat, fish, eggs or foods that trigger allergies. We pass that on as they word it, because it is a food safety instruction rather than a selling point.

The box is marked recyclable. The bag is marked check locally, not recyclable, and the soft-plastic recycling scheme printed on this pack is a New Zealand one. So we are not going to tell you the bags can go into an Australian soft-plastic collection. Check with your own council or waste contractor before you rely on it.

26.8cm x 27.3cm per bag, which is the figure printed on the box and published by Ziploc. That takes a small roast, a tray of cut vegetables or a few days of prepped meals. The Sandwich and Snack bags in the range are much smaller if you are portioning single servings.

Not one we can give you. The EAN-13 printed on each box is 9300622008097, and that identifies the twelve-bag box rather than the nine-box carton. The carton code is not published, so we have left the barcode field empty rather than put a box code against a carton. Ask us if you need it for a scanning setup and we will chase it.
