Expandable Envelopes

The failure point on a flat envelope is the crease when it is over-filled, so anything holding a set that grows needs a gusset built in from the start. Board weight then decides whether it survives posting. String or stud closures hold a thick set where a self-seal flap will not reach. See expanding folders, document wallets and pocket envelopes.
