Curved Monitors

The curve exists to keep the whole panel roughly equidistant from the eye, which works beautifully for the person sitting centred and less well for anyone viewing from the side. That makes it a poor choice where a screen is shared or shown to a visitor. On a wide panel the effect is real; on a small one it is largely cosmetic.
