A star with holes in it

Ten pre-cut wooden stars with pre-drilled holes, for weaving with wool, string or yarn.

The holes are the whole product. Weave across the face like a dream catcher, or around the points like a web - either way the student is doing a real weaving task with a rigid frame holding the tension, which is what makes it work for shaky hands and short attention spans alike.

Extra holes along the base let you hang tassels or ornaments from the finished piece.

Colour the wood first with watercolour, acrylic, oil paint, spray paint, pencils or paint markers, then weave. Supplied as one pack of 10 stars.

No. The stars are supplied bare - use any wool, string, yarn or ribbon you already have. That is part of why they suit a whole class.

Before. Once the wool is on you cannot get at the wood cleanly. Let the paint dry fully or it will mark the yarn.

Weaving around a rigid frame is one of the easier fibre tasks - the frame holds the tension so a loose weave still looks deliberate. It works for early primary through to aged-care groups.

The base row is for hanging tassels, beads or small ornaments off the finished star.

Modern Star do not publish dimensions for this pack. Ask us to check with the supplier if size matters for your display.

Returns, Refunds & Replacements

Mega Office Supplies accepts change-of-mind returns for unopened and unused products within 14 days from the invoice date, provided the item is returned in its original packaging and in resalable condition. Original shipping costs are not refundable, return shipping is the customer’s responsibility, and a restocking fee may apply depending on the product type and supplier. Some items, including electronics, assembled or installed furniture, food, beverages, medicines, custom-made products, and certain bulk or special-order items, are not eligible for return unless required under Australian Consumer Law.

If your order arrives faulty, damaged, or incorrect, please contact Mega Office Supplies as soon as possible.
