Eight grooves that turn a pile of loose parts into a lesson
40cm wide, 20cm high, 20mm thick. Solid beechwood. Eight smooth grooves. Rainbow shape. $25.00.
The grooves do the teaching. Hand a child a pile of buttons and they play with it; hand them the same pile and eight defined spaces and they start sorting - by colour, by size, by material, by whatever rule they invent. The structure creates the thinking, and it happens without an adult setting the task.
The rainbow shape is not decoration. Eight curved bands in sequence is a natural invitation to order things by shade, which is colour theory before a child has the words for it.
20mm of solid beechwood is a serious piece of timber. It does not warp, it does not chip, and it survives an early years room for years rather than a term.
It works as a display as well as a tool. Filled with natural materials or a child's collection, it is genuinely good-looking on a shelf, which is why it stays out and keeps getting used.
It suits paint palettes and collage too - eight separate wells for mixed colours or sorted collage pieces.
One note on the environmental claim
Zart describes the beechwood as "sustainably sourced". That is their wording and no certification scheme is named, so we are attributing it rather than repeating it as fact. We have asked what stands behind it.

Shipping & Delivery

For in-stock items, standard metro delivery in QLD, NSW and VIC is usually 1 to 7 business days. South Australia, Tasmania, Western Australia and the Northern Territory are generally 3 to 12 business days. Express delivery for eligible parcels under 3kg is usually 1 to 4 business days in QLD, NSW, ACT and VIC. Returns, Refunds & Replacements
Mega Office Supplies accepts change-of-mind returns for unopened and unused products within 14 days from the invoice date, provided the item is returned in its original packaging and in resalable condition. Original shipping costs are not refundable, return shipping is the customer’s responsibility, and a restocking fee may apply depending on the product type and supplier. Some items, including electronics, assembled or installed furniture, food, beverages, medicines, custom-made products, and certain bulk or special-order items, are not eligible for return unless required under Australian Consumer Law.
If your order arrives faulty, damaged, or incorrect, please contact Mega Office Supplies as soon as possible. Where required under Australian Consumer Law, a repair, replacement, or refund will be offered. In these cases, Mega Office Supplies will cover reasonable return shipping costs, and photographic evidence may be requested to help process the claim. Items should be reported within a reasonable timeframe after delivery.
