Zart thin profile stretched canvas, 12 x 16 inch, pack of 40

Zart's Stretched Canvas Thin Profile, code CV800-40, is a pack of 40 canvases at 12 x 16 inch, which Zart describes as acrylic-primed cotton stretched over a 17mm wooden frame.

Zart lists the surface as triple coated 380gsm cotton duck and states that the canvas is acid free, with a staple free edge. Of the three thin profile class packs Zart offers, 12 x 16 inch is the smallest size, and Zart's own photo for this code is labelled pack of 40, so a whole class can paint on matching surfaces.

Zart says the surface is ready to use and suits acrylic, oil, gouache and mixed media, so students can start painting without preparing the canvas first. Zart also describes the thin frame as lightweight and easy to display, which helps when a finished class set goes up on a wall.

Teachers planning a painting unit will find the rest of the range under Zart, more surfaces in art paper and canvas and stands for working upright in artists easels, with brushes and paint in art and craft supplies.
