The tool for the job nobody wants: cutting a length off a paper roll
Cutting glider. Paper rolls and sheets. Ergonomic. $6.10.
Cutting a straight line off a big paper roll with scissors is genuinely awful. It wanders, it tears, it takes two people, and the result is a ragged edge on the display paper everyone will look at. A glider runs along the paper in one motion and gives a clean line, which is why every art room that owns one uses it constantly.
The gliding action is the mechanism. Instead of chopping repeatedly, the blade is drawn along the paper in a single pass, so there are no jagged joins where one scissor cut met the next.
It is designed to be held comfortably, which matters when you are cutting fifteen lengths of backing paper before a display goes up.
$6.10 makes it the cheapest tool in the room that saves real time, and it is cheap enough to have two so there is no queue.
It works on sheets too, not just rolls, so it is not a single-purpose item sitting in a drawer.
Read this before you buy it for students
Zart calls it safe but does not say what makes it safe, and gives no age rating. A cutting tool for a classroom needs both. We do not know whether the blade is enclosed, whether it is replaceable, or what age group Zart intends it for - and we are not going to describe a cutting tool as safe for students on the strength of one adjective. We have asked all three. Until then, treat it as a teacher's tool.
There is also no barcode. Zart has not supplied one and we will not generate one.

Shipping & Delivery
Delivery time depends on your location, the size of your order, and the shipping option selected at checkout. For in-stock items, standard metro delivery in QLD, NSW and VIC is usually 1 to 7 business days. South Australia, Tasmania, Western Australia and the Northern Territory are generally 3 to 12 business days. Express delivery for eligible parcels under 3kg is usually 1 to 4 business days in QLD, NSW, ACT and VIC. Delivery estimates apply to in-stock items only and may vary due to carrier conditions or delays.

Returns, Refunds & Replacements
Mega Office Supplies accepts change-of-mind returns for unopened and unused products within 14 days from the invoice date, provided the item is returned in its original packaging and in resalable condition. Original shipping costs are not refundable, return shipping is the customer’s responsibility, and a restocking fee may apply depending on the product type and supplier. Some items, including electronics, assembled or installed furniture, food, beverages, medicines, custom-made products, and certain bulk or special-order items, are not eligible for return unless required under Australian Consumer Law.
If your order arrives faulty, damaged, or incorrect, please contact Mega Office Supplies as soon as possible. Where required under Australian Consumer Law, a repair, replacement, or refund will be offered. In these cases, Mega Office Supplies will cover reasonable return shipping costs, and photographic evidence may be requested to help process the claim. Items should be reported within a reasonable timeframe after delivery.
