Balsa sticks, blocks and sheets for construction and carving
The Zart Balsa Wood Class Pack, supplier code BW325, holds 325 pieces of balsa wood from The Creative School Supply Company, supplied as sticks, blocks and sheets in a range of listed sizes.
The Creative School Supply Company describes the balsa as ideal for construction. It can be painted, glued, decorated with paper, fabric and embellishments, and carved. The supplier itemises the contents as sticks, blocks and sheets in the sizes listed in the specifications, with pieces up to 450mm long. It suggests the pack for art and hobby crafts in the artroom or at home.
Having sticks, blocks and sheets in one box means framing, solid forms and flat panels can come from the same pack. The longest pieces run to 450mm, while the 144 small blocks and 120 thin sticks suit detail work. Painting, gluing, covering and carving are all on the supplier's list.
Zart dowel rods, wooden wheels and box board chassis bases also suit construction and model work. Explore wooden craft supplies, craft shapes and blanks, educational craft supplies and Zart for related materials.
