A Snail Labyrinth Balance Board That Tilts Every Way

WePlay Maze Balance Board, item KP0001.1, is a blue plastic balance board with a snail shaped labyrinth moulded into the top and 3 balls, so children tilt the board to guide a ball through the maze by hand or by foot.

WePlay calls it an intermediate balance board and lists it at 54 x 40 x 5.4cm. WePlay describes the base as moving in all directions rather than along one line, so the child keeps correcting the tilt as the ball works round the spiral. Footprint outlines moulded at each side show where to stand.

WePlay says the maze teaches players to control the speed and direction of the ball. It can be worked standing, held in the hands while sitting, or, as WePlay's Active Aging page shows for the same code, guided with the feet from a chair.

WePlay gives the board a 60kg maximum load and names Taiwan as its country of origin. Store the 3 balls in plastic tubs and tote trays between sessions, and find other boards in PE equipment or educational supplies.
