USB4 Speed For Heavy Video And Image Files

Verbatim 32021 is a 1TB TurboMetal external SSD on a USB 4.0 connection, rated by ACCO at up to 3700MB/s read and 3600MB/s write.

Edit projects, raw photo shoots and high resolution video are where a slow drive costs real time at the desk. The TurboMetal puts an M.2 solid state drive inside a metal housing, and ACCO list an integrated cooling fan as part of that design. Verbatim product photos show the drive with a short black cable carrying a USB-C plug at each end.

Nero Backup, formatting software and a user manual come preloaded, so a first backup routine can be set up straight from the drive. ACCO list a 2 year warranty. Their speed figures are quoted for USB4, and no figures are published for older USB ports.

Compare the other drives in external SSDs and hard drives, the wider computer storage devices range, data transfer cables, and everything from Verbatim.

FAQs

ACCO rate the drive at up to 3700MB/s read and 3600MB/s write over USB4. They publish no figures for older USB ports, so expect the rated speed only from a USB4 connection.
ACCO do not state operating system support for 32021. The Verbatim Metal Mini SSD 32030 is the drive in this group that ACCO list for both Windows and Mac.
Verbatim photograph the drive with a short cable that has USB-C at both ends. The ACCO listing text does not set out the box contents, so we cannot confirm more than that.
ACCO list an integrated cooling fan as part of the metal design. They do not publish noise or temperature figures for it.
Only in capacity. Verbatim 32022 is the 2TB TurboMetal with the same speed rating and features.
ACCO list a 2 year warranty for this drive.
