Uni-ball Air UBA188CM Pastel Barrel Liquid Ink Rollerball Pen 0.5mm Sandstone Barrel Box of 12

uni-ball's page lists 0.5mm for the UBA188CM. Its 2026 catalogue lists the same code as Micro with a line of about 0.28 to 0.45mm.

uni-ball says the Air tip minimises friction and contact with paper, giving an extremely smooth writing sensation without scratch or noise, and lets you write from any angle and in any position. We have run no test of our own.

Black. Mitsubishi Pencil Australia confirms all six pastel barrel colours write in black ink.

Mitsubishi Pencil Australia's trade flyer describes it as a water-based pigment ink in a liquid ink rollerball.

uni-ball's pastel page shows no uni Super Ink logo and makes no water, fade or time resistance statement, so we state none.

uni-ball does not say for the UBA188CM, so we do not state it either way.

Yes. uni-ball publishes one for Air inks, issued 14 February 2025. It lists the pastel code as UMA-188C-M while the product page writes UBA188CM, so we note the difference rather than assume. It says the mixture is not classified as hazardous and that a signal word is not required.

We list Greige, Sandstone, Moss Green, Ice Blue, Steel Blue and Off White barrels in boxes of 12. uni-ball's page says there are six soft barrel colours and names none; the names come from its image filenames.
