Letters, Words and First Sentences in WA Modern Cursive

Targeting Handwriting WA Year 1 Student Book by Jane Pinsker and Susan Young builds on Pre-Primary with continued letter practice in WA Modern Cursive and a first move into words and sentences.

Students keep working through two pages of tracing, tracking and independent writing for each letter, now with lower and upper case letters placed in words. Patterning exercises reinforce basic letter shapes, and a seahorse character highlights where letters sit within the lines. The book also covers punctuation, numerals 1-10 and the tracing and writing of simple sentences, following the Western Australian Strand Outcome Statements.

Alternative formations for some upper case letters help left-handed students. A pencil grip and paper position reference on the inside back cover and an alphabet on the back cover support regular practice three to four times a week, as the publisher recommends.

Returns, Refunds & Replacements

Mega Office Supplies accepts change-of-mind returns for unopened and unused products within 14 days from the invoice date, provided the item is returned in its original packaging and in resalable condition. Original shipping costs are not refundable, return shipping is the customer’s responsibility, and a restocking fee may apply depending on the product type and supplier.
