The Largest of Three: a 5mm Line Date Stamp

Staedtler 9SD-3 is a Shiny line date stamp with 5mm characters, the biggest of the three sizes in the range, for a bold, clearly legible date on paperwork.

Shiny make it and Staedtler Australia distribute it; the box is printed Shiny DATER STAMP D-3 and the Shiny name sits on the handle. Staedtler's catalogue sums the range up simply: rotate the wheel to print the date you require, with a strong metal frame and a comfortable handle. The rubber bands carry the day, the month in letters and the year.

At 5mm the date stays readable on scanned or photocopied documents and on cartons or dockets read at arm's length. Because it is non self-inking, ink it on a stamp pad before each press and wipe the bands after heavy use. The 4mm 9SD-4 and 3mm 9SD-5 are the smaller options.
