Blue Refill Station For The Lumocolor 356 Flipchart Marker

Staedtler 488 56-3 holds 30 ml of blue ink for recharging Lumocolor 356 and 356 B flipchart markers.

Blue is the colour many presenters reach for second, for sub-points, diagrams and the notes that sit under a black heading. When a blue 356 starts to streak, stand it nib down in this pot. The marker pulls up only as much ink as it can hold, so there is no flooding and nothing to measure.

Staedtler state the marker writes again a few minutes after it goes in, with a complete fill taking 3 to 4 hours, so a pot left on the shelf overnight suits a busy training room. Staedtler's catalogue allows up to 9 refills for each marker, subject to tip wear. The station itself is polypropylene and, per Staedtler, made in Germany.

No. This pot is for the Lumocolor flipchart markers 356 and 356 B. Staedtler make a separate station, 488 51, for their 351 whiteboard markers.
It is Staedtler colour 3 blue, the shade listed for the blue 356 refill. Use it in blue markers only, because a different ink colour changes what the marker writes.
Take the cap off the marker and push the tip into the opening of the pot, then leave it. After a few minutes it will write again, and after 3 to 4 hours it is completely refilled, Staedtler say.
A single 30 ml pot of blue ink in Staedtler's retail box. Markers are sold separately, for example in the 356 wallets.
