A Dark, Warm Brown for Fine Line Work

The Staedtler triplus fineliner 334-77 writes in tobacco brown, and this listing is a box of ten of that single colour.

Tobacco brown is the deepest brown in the triplus line-up, darker than brown 334-76 and well away from the sandy light brown 334-7. On white or cream paper it reads almost like a soft black, so it is handy for outlining when black would look too hard, for sepia-style sketches, tree bark and timber, hair, and handwriting that should feel a little warmer.

The pen itself is the standard triplus: a triangular PP barrel, a superfine metal-sleeved tip (approx. 0.3 mm line) and ink with a water base. Staedtler class that ink as DRY SAFE, and it should come out of most fabrics in the wash, they say. They also note pressure equalisation that keeps the pen from leaking when you fly.
