The Staedtler Triplus Fineliner 334-550 is a box of 10 pale green fineliners, a very light, desaturated green tone that is the palest green in the Triplus extended range, suited to subtle background tones, the palest leaf highlights and delicate annotation systems.

Pale green is closer to white-green than to any vivid green - it is the colour of new spring buds before they fully develop colour, the palest wash of foliage in watercolour illustration and the lightest value of green in a tonal range. In illustration it provides the highlight tone within leaves (the bright spot where light hits directly), very pale leaf veins and the most subtle foliage backgrounds in complex botanical compositions. In annotation and journalling it serves as a gentle background colour or accent that adds a hint of nature without asserting itself visually.
