These refills are made for the Stabilo EasyErgo Easy Start mechanical pencil. The 3.15mm diameter is specific to that model, so they will not fit standard 0.5mm or 0.7mm mechanical pencils.

The lead is HB grade, which is the standard hardness used in Australian primary schools for everyday handwriting, maths work, and drawing. It produces a clear, consistent line without being too soft or too hard.

Each blister card contains 6 lead refills. Longevity depends on how heavily the child writes, but a pack of six gives most primary-school students several weeks of regular use between repurchases.
