The Stabilo Swing Cool uses water-based ink, which performs best on standard uncoated paper such as copy paper, notebook pages, and printed documents. On heavily coated or glossy paper, the ink may take longer to dry or may smear slightly, so a short drying period is recommended before handling.

Yes. The 1mm fine tip is well suited for underlining individual words and writing brief annotations in margins. It is not a replacement for a fineliner, but it works reliably for light note-taking alongside the 4mm chisel tip used for block highlighting.

This wallet is sold as a complete pack of 6 ready-to-use highlighters and does not include separate refills. When the ink runs out, individual Stabilo Swing Cool highlighters are available for replacement. The wallet packaging itself is not refillable.
