These OHPen Universal pens use water-soluble ink, identified by the grey shaft colour. Marks made on OHP film or other smooth surfaces wipe away cleanly with a damp cloth. If you need a permanent version, Stabilo also produces OHPen Universal pens with permanent ink in a black shaft.

The wallet contains 4 assorted colours. Stabilo offers the OHPen Universal range in up to 8 colours, so the exact assortment may vary, but typically includes a practical mix suitable for colour-coded annotations and slide preparation.

The Medium 1.0mm tip lays down a broader line, making it easier to read from a distance on projected slides or large surfaces. The Fine 0.7mm is better suited to detailed writing or smaller text. For general classroom or presentation use, the Medium tip is the more versatile choice.

The OHPen Universal has a cap-off time of up to 3 days, meaning the ink will not dry out if you set the pen down uncapped for short periods. Re-capping the pen after each session will extend the overall lifespan of the ink.

Yes. The OHPen Universal writes on almost all smooth surfaces, including glass, acetate, laminated sheets and whiteboards. Because the ink is water-soluble, it can be wiped away from most surfaces with a damp cloth, making it a flexible option beyond OHP use.
