A Squarer Page With Heavier Paper

The Spirax 224 is a 24 page project book measuring 273 x 300mm, printed on 100gsm paper and supplied here as a pack of 20.

Its proportions set it apart from the rest of the Spirax project books we carry. ACCO list it at 273 x 300mm, closer to square than an A4 book, which leaves more width for a drawing, a map or a worksheet glued onto the page. The paper is listed at 100gsm, heavier than the 90gsm ACCO give for the 225, 226 and 227 project books, so glue, felt pens and pasted pictures sit on a firmer sheet.

The cover calls the layout 8mm ruled/blank. ACCO do not say how the lined and plain areas are arranged within each page for this code, so we do not describe a split. Margin, binding style and perforation are also missing from the ACCO record for the 224 and are left out here.
