Blue sand that stretches, squeezes and joins back together

Educational Colours Sensory Cotton Sand 2kg Blue, supplier code CS2BL, is a blue sand-like sensory material that children can stretch, squeeze, pinch, pull apart and mould, then join back together.

Educational Colours describes the texture as unique. It can be pulled apart and seamlessly re-joined while keeping an even resistance, so a model can be built, broken up and rebuilt in one session. The brand says bright colours make Cotton Sand appealing for children creating fun artwork. This listing is the blue colour in the 2kg size.

Educational Colours states that playing with Cotton Sand is a sensory experience that helps children develop hand-eye coordination and fine motor skills. That makes it a useful activity for a classroom table or play at home. The brand supplies it in large, re-usable tubs, so the sand goes straight back in for storage.

Blue Cotton Sand sits beside magic sand and sand moulds in our sensory toys range. See the Educational Colours collection, more early learning and sensory resources and everyday classroom supplies.
