A single roll. 3M packs 924 in cartons of 12 rolls and cases of 48, but one unit here is one roll, 19.05 mm (3/4 in) wide and 32.9 m (36 yd) long. Our supplier lists it as 18 mm x 33 m; we use 3M's figures.

Yes. The roll is reverse wound for Scotch ATG hand-held applicators, which lay down the adhesive while the liner rewinds into the applicator. No applicator is included, and 3M's technical data sheet lists the compatible models.

3M says it bonds a wide variety of similar and dissimilar materials, such as metals, glass, wood, papers, paints and many plastics. For the strongest bond, 3M recommends a clean, dry surface, typically wiped with isopropyl alcohol and water, and firm application pressure.

3M describes the bonds as immediate and permanent, with high adhesion and good shear-holding power, and says the tape bonds on contact. Position the work carefully before pressing the parts together.

3M's data sheet gives 21 °C to 38 °C as the ideal application range and does not recommend first application below 10 °C, because the adhesive becomes too firm to stick readily.

3M gives a shelf life of 24 months from the date of manufacture when the roll is kept in its original packaging at 16 to 27 °C and 40 to 60% relative humidity, out of direct sunlight.
