Royal Blue gel ink with a deep, rich tone

Royal Blue is the darker, more formal of the two Gelly Roll Regular blues, and it writes in a neat 0.3 mm Fine Point line.

People who find black too stark often choose a navy toned blue for signatures, cards and journals, and Sakura's swatch for code 37328 shows a deep blue with a hint of violet. It shares the capped Fine Point 06 barrel used across the Regular series. On cream or white stationery it reads as elegant handwriting, and in a sketch it makes a strong outline colour that is softer than black.

Royal Blue is dark enough for full paragraphs yet still clearly a colour, which helps when you sign documents and want the signature to stand apart from photocopies. Sakura describes the ink as archival quality and chemical proof on paper.
