Compact Key Reel for Everyday Access

The Rexel 9800502 mini key holder clips to your clothing and lets a key reach the lock without ever leaving the wearer.

Rexel build this reel around a retractable nylon cord that ACCO Australia publish as extending up to 83cm, finished with a 22mm split ring. The body is the smaller of the two sizes Rexel list for this key holder, so it sits flat under a jacket or on the front of a uniform pocket. A clip on the back holds the reel in place while the cord does the reaching.

Keys stay attached to the person rather than left on a bench or in a door, which is what stops them going astray between rooms. The cord draws itself back in, so nothing swings at knee height on a walk across a site, and one ring keeps a small working bunch together.

If you want a metal body instead, compare the sizes in retractable key holders, then step through key accessories, look at lanyards and badge reels for staff who carry a card as well, or see everything from Rexel.

FAQs

ACCO Australia publish the mini key holder cord as extending up to 83cm, with a 22mm key ring. That is Rexel's own figure for code 9800502, and it is the only reach figure they publish for it.
AA9810502 is the same mini key holder supplied on a hangsell card for retail display, and this code is supplied without one. One thing worth knowing before you compare the two listings: the printed card on AA9810502 gives 64cm and a 25mm ring, which does not match the 83cm and 22mm on ACCO Australia's web page. We show both figures where they appear rather than picking one.
Rexel publish no key capacity for this code, so we do not state one. The ring is 22mm, which suits a small working bunch rather than a full master set.
No. The metal codes AA9800702 and AA9800402 are the standard body size, and ACCO Australia publish a 70cm cord and a 26mm ring for those. This listing is the mini body.
Rexel describe a clip on the back that attaches to your clothing. They do not publish a belt loop or a sprung gate for this code, so treat it as a clothing clip.
ACCO Australia publish no weight for this code, so the product record carries none rather than an estimate.
