A Small Beige Saucepan for Sauces, Porridge and Reheating

The Resto Ran 16cm saucepan in beige holds 1.3L, with a recycled die-cast aluminium body, a Pfluon Cookmark non-stick interior, a tempered glass lid and an induction base for induction, gas, electric, vitroceramic and halogen hobs.

Ran is one of Resto's die-cast aluminium collections, with a woven-fabric-inspired relief on the outside and wood-grain-effect soft-touch handles, offered in beige and black. The 16cm saucepan is 8.0 cm high and is the smallest lidded piece in the Ran range, a handy size for sauces, custard, porridge, boiled eggs or warming soup at lunchtime in a staff kitchen. It comes with its glass lid in a Resto gift box.

Resto uses a four-layer non-stick coating on its die-cast ranges, so food releases cleanly and washing up is quick. An anti-deformation disk resists warping. The soft-touch handle has a hanging loop and Resto says it stays cool during cooking, while the lid has a steam vent and a silicone rim that protects the coating from scratches.

It is lead, PFOA and cadmium free. Resto does not publish an oven rating for the saucepan or its lid, so keep it on the cooktop. Our kitchenware range, electric kettles and breakroom and staff kitchen supplies complete a small office kitchen.

Yes. Resto lists the Ran range for induction, gas, electric, vitroceramic and halogen hobs. The base is an induction bottom reinforced with an anti-deformation disk, which Resto says resists warping.
Resto does not publish an oven rating for the Ran saucepan or its glass lid, and the gift box shows no oven symbol either way. Without a stated temperature we cannot recommend oven use, so treat it as cooktop cookware.
Resto rates it dishwasher safe. Its care guidance also asks you to hand wash it before first use, cook on low to medium heat and avoid metal sponges and abrasive cleaners. Resto publishes a separate care note about dark marks that can appear on bases after dishwasher use, so hand washing is the gentler choice if you want the finish to stay looking new.
Resto's care guidance warns against metal sponges and abrasive cleaners. As with any non-stick coating, we suggest wooden, silicone or nylon utensils to keep the surface in good condition.

The 16cm saucepan is the smallest lidded Ran piece at 1.3L. The casseroles hold 2.4L (20cm) and 4.2L (24cm) and the shallow pot holds 4.1L (28cm), and those have two side handles where the saucepan has a single handle with a hanging loop. The same saucepan in black is listed separately.
