A Chair That Can Live Outside Without Going Chalky

The Rapidline Cast Chair is moulded in one piece from UV stabilised polypropylene, rated to 150kg, so it holds its colour and its shape in a courtyard, a canteen or an open balcony.

Ordinary cafe chairs brought outdoors fail in two predictable ways. The finish fades and goes chalky after a season in direct sun, and the joints between a separate seat, back and frame work loose as the parts expand and contract. The Cast Chair removes both problems by being a single moulding with no fixings anywhere in the structure, in a resin formulated to resist UV.

The open diamond lattice through the back and seat is the practical part. Rain drains straight through instead of pooling on the seat, air moves behind the sitter on a warm day, and there is no upholstery to stain, tear or hold moisture. At 500mm wide and 640mm deep with the seat at 450mm, it pulls up to any standard 720 to 750mm dining or meeting table, and the backrest sits 390mm above the seat for genuine support rather than a token lip.

White reads cooler in an open courtyard and shows less heat build-up than a dark finish in full sun. Supplied fully assembled and backed by a 3 year Rapidline warranty. The Cast range also includes 650mm and 750mm seat height stools for bar and bench height tables.

Rapidline builds it from UV stabilised polypropylene specifically so it can live outdoors without going chalky, and the open lattice lets rain drain rather than pool. For the longest life we still suggest a covered or partly shaded position, and bringing chairs in ahead of severe weather.
A 450mm seat height is standard dining height. It works with tables between roughly 720mm and 750mm high, which covers most cafe, canteen and meeting tables. For bar or bench height tables, use the Cast Stool at 650mm or 750mm instead.

Warm water and mild detergent with a soft cloth or brush is all it needs, and the lattice can be hosed off. Avoid solvent based cleaners and abrasive pads, which dull the moulded finish.

Returns, Refunds & Replacements

Mega Office Supplies accepts change-of-mind returns for unopened and unused products within 14 days from the invoice date, provided the item is returned in its original packaging and in resalable condition.
