Rainbow Spectrum Board A4 Black is a 220gsm uncoated matte board, 100 sheets to a pack.

Black is the mounting colour that suits the widest range of artwork, and the matte face is why this one is chosen for it. A gloss black shows every handling mark on the way to an exhibition and throws a reflection across the piece it is meant to present. Buyers also use black for silhouette work, night scenes and stage dressing.

The uncoated surface takes chalk marker and metallic pen, which show up against black in a way they do not on a pale board. At 220gsm it is a board weight rather than a heavy paper.

A studio and art-room staple for mounting, silhouettes, night-scene work and stage dressing, and the colour most departments keep a pack of on the shelf year round. Also in A3 and large sheets, next to our cartridge papers.

Yes. All 100 sheets are black. Spectrum Board is also sold in assorted packs if you want a mix in one box.
It is board weight rather than paper weight. Coloured copy paper is usually 80gsm and is made to go through a photocopier. At 220gsm this is made to be cut, mounted and pinned up, and it will not go through most office copiers.
There is no gloss coating on the surface. That is what stops the sheet reflecting light back at a camera, a projector or a photocopier, and it is the reason matte board is the usual choice for mounting and display work.
They come 10 packs per carton. Schools ordering for a whole cohort usually find a full carton simpler to receive and store than several part packs.
No. Rainbow do not print a country of origin on the Spectrum Board pack and Austpaper do not publish one, so we do not state one. We can ask the supplier if you need it for a tender.

Delivery time depends on your location, the size of your order, and the shipping option selected at checkout. For in-stock items, standard metro delivery in QLD, NSW and VIC is usually 1 to 7 business days. South Australia, Tasmania, Western Australia and the Northern Territory are generally 3 to 12 business days. Express delivery for eligible parcels under 3kg is usually 1 to 4 business days in QLD, NSW, ACT and VIC. Delivery estimates apply to in-stock items only and may vary due to carrier conditions or delays.

Returns, Refunds & Replacements

Mega Office Supplies accepts change-of-mind returns for unopened and unused products within 14 days from the invoice date, provided the item is returned in its original packaging and in resalable condition. Original shipping costs are not refundable, return shipping is the customer’s responsibility, and a restocking fee may apply depending on the product type and supplier. Some items, including electronics, assembled or installed furniture, food, beverages, medicines, custom-made products, and certain bulk or special-order items, are not eligible for return unless required under Australian Consumer Law.

If your order arrives faulty, damaged, or incorrect, please contact Mega Office Supplies as soon as possible. Where required under Australian Consumer Law, a repair, replacement, or refund will be offered. In these cases, Mega Office Supplies will cover reasonable return shipping costs, and photographic evidence may be requested to help process the claim.
