The Widest Dotted Thirds For First Writers

Protext NB5141 is a large 330 x 240mm writing book with 24mm dotted thirds on every one of its 64 pages, a red margin and a PP cover, packed ten to a unit here.

At 24mm between the solid rules, the bands are tall enough for children who are still learning to control a pencil. Two dotted guides cross each band, marking thirds so a child can place the round part of a letter in the middle and let tall letters and tails reach up and down. When a child is ready to write smaller, the 18mm version of this book is the next step down.

The page measures 330 x 240mm, larger than A4, and The Note Group list the paper at 70gsm with covers in mixed colours. An ape drawing labelled teacher's reference 'ape' sits on the front with a 24mm ruling sample, alongside notes for an activity page, 4 year calendar and red margin. Maths tables and units of measure cover the back.
