Protext NB5081 is a 48 page A4 botany book printed Plain / QLD Ruling Year 3 and 4, supplied in packs of 20 with a turkey as the teacher's reference.

By Year 3 and 4, students are labelling diagrams, recording experiments and writing short reports, and the drawing matters as much as the text. This book keeps a plain page next to a ruled page, as the brand diagram shows, so a plant cross section or a map of the school garden can sit directly opposite the paragraph that explains it.

On the ruled side the diagram marks 12mm between the pink lines, with two blue lines in each space, and a red margin runs down the page. The Note Group give the paper as 70gsm. Covers are polypropylene in assorted colours, each with a turkey drawing that identifies the ruling at a glance. Printed on the front is a note of an activity page and 4 year calendar inside; the back cover holds maths tables and units of measure.
