Medium Black Flexgrip Ultra Ballpoint for Everyday Desk Writing

Paper Mate Flexgrip Ultra 9530131 packs 12 retractable ballpoint pens with black ink and a 1.0mm medium point into one carton, with the count, point and ink colour printed on the box front.

Newell's 2026/27 catalogue lists 9530131 as a carton of 12 with a 1.0mm tip and black ink, in the same Flexgrip table as the fine 0.8mm cartons. Our photos show a grey barrel printed FlexGrip Ultra 1.0 M with rings at the front, a clip beside the plunger, and a box marked Medium Point.

Newell credits two parts of the design: rings that run the full length of the grip, for comfort in every position, and a steel flange at the tip, for extra durability. The 1.0mm medium point carries a larger ball than the 0.8mm fine cartons, so choose it when you want a medium point for daily notes and signatures.

Find more retractable ballpoint pens for the office, compare ballpoint pens by point size and ink colour, see what else sits in the Paper Mate range, or browse correction tapes to keep in the same desk drawer as these pens.

FAQs

A dozen black Flexgrip Ultra pens. The box prints 12 pens, 1.0mm ballpoint and Medium Point, which matches Newell's listing for 9530131.
Choose 9530131 for a medium 1.0mm point on everyday notes. The fine black carton, 9580131, suits smaller handwriting with its 0.8mm point.
The grey pen in our photos prints 42% beside a recycling symbol, the same figure as Newell's catalogue illustration, yet the catalogue badge for the range reads 80%. With the two figures in conflict, no recycled-content claim is made for 9530131.
That image is a Paper Mate range shot with pens from several lines on a wooden desk. Only the grey Flexgrip Ultra pens and boxes in the other photos show what this carton contains.
