The Deep MAX380 Shell, Left Empty For Your Own Fit Out

The Panaro MAX380H160 is supplied as a bare shell: no foam, no dividers, just 16.4 litres of sealed space for gear that brings its own packaging or a custom insert.

Inside you get 380 x 270 x 160 mm, made up of a 36 mm lid and a 124 mm base, and the outside measures 414 x 345 x 174 mm. That suits boxed instruments, spare parts in bags, sample kits, or a foam inlay cut to your own pattern. Panaro list cubed foam, padded dividers, a lid organiser and a laptop holder as other ways to fit out this same shell.

An empty MAX380H160 weighs 2.20 kg, per Panaro. The polypropylene body has full length hinges with corrosion free nylon pins, a soft grip handle Panaro load test, interlocking feet for stacking and holes for a shoulder strap and two padlocks. Its paperwork runs from an IP67 certificate through NATO environmental trials to an ATA 300 Category 1 air transport report (full list in the specifications), and the case is made in Italy.
