Big 10mm Squares For Young Mathematicians

Olympic 140792 is the G2104 grid book: 48 pages of 10mm squares in the 225 x 175mm school size, sold in a pack of 20 for a class set.

Large squares are the usual starting point when children first set out numbers in columns. With a full centimetre for each box, a young student can write one digit per square and keep tens under tens and ones under ones without the page getting crowded. The same boxes make quick work of tally charts, picture graphs and simple shapes counted square by square.

Hamelin Brands, owners of the Olympic brand, list the book as ideal for graphing and technical drawings and show the grid printed in light blue.
