Nobo Quantum 2511 Overhead Projector 250W Grey

The projector. Our title previously read Overhead Projector Lamp, which was wrong, and it has been corrected. Nobo catalogues product code 1900559 as the Quantum 2511 overhead projector, and the chassis dimensions and the five year return to base cover are a machine's figures rather than a bulb's. A spare bulb is a separate part at a very different price.

We cannot tell you from anything Nobo publishes, and we will not guess on an electrical part. Nobo's own overhead projection brochure lists replacement lamp code 33730957 against the Quantum 2521, the 2523, the 2523T and the 4023, and the 2511 does not appear in that table at all. The 2511 and the 2521 differ by one digit, which is exactly how the wrong lamp gets ordered. Read the code printed on the bulb you are removing, or ask us and we will put the question to ACCO.

250W is the lamp power and 240V is the mains supply, and they are not one figure. Nobo's brochure lists the lamp on the neighbouring Quantum models as 24V 250W, running from a 240V supply through a transformer, so a 240V 250W bulb and a 24V 250W bulb are different parts and are not interchangeable. We publish 240V as the supply voltage only, and no lamp voltage for the 2511.

Not really, and we would rather say so on the page than have you find out afterwards. An overhead projector shows acetate transparencies and has been displaced by data projectors and large format displays. The sensible buyer for this unit is maintaining equipment that is already installed, or working from acetates that already exist. For a new room, specify something else.

Five years, return to base, with lamps and glass parts excluded. The exclusion is the part worth reading, because the lamp is the component that fails. Note also that Nobo's own European overhead projection brochure states twelve months parts and labour for the Quantum range with an optional extension, while the Australian and United Kingdom channel records for this code both state five years return to base. That is what we publish, and we are telling you the documents differ.

Lamp life hours, a replacement lamp part code, a unit or carton weight, a light output figure and a carton quantity. Nobo's brochure does give a minimum lamp life for its Quantum lamps and a weight for the 2521, but the 2511 is absent from that table and we will not carry a neighbouring model's figures across to it. Ask us and we will put any of it to ACCO.
