A Single Serve Freeze Dried Coffee Stick In A Box Of One Thousand

Moccona Classic Medium Roast, 1.7g a stick and one thousand sticks a box, a freeze dried instant coffee that JDE Professional lists as a blend of Arabica and Robusta at intensity five

Portion control is the reason a kitchen buys sticks rather than a jar. Each stick is a sealed paper sachet holding 1.7g, so a cup costs the same every time and the tin never sits open on the bench. JDE Professional publishes the ingredient as one hundred per cent instant coffee, describes the roast as medium with a full bodied flavour and rich aroma, and rates it at intensity five on its own scale.

For a staff kitchen or a conference floor the practical gain is that nobody has to measure anything and nobody has to clean a spoon. JDE Professional names hotels, hospitals and office kitchens as the settings for the format, and the serving method is simply to empty a stick into the cup, add boiled water and stir.

Stock the bench around it from the coffee products range, add cups and spoons from the kitchenware shelf, and see the wider facility supplies range for everything else the breakroom goes through.

FAQs

One thousand sticks, each holding 1.7g, both published by JDE Professional for this format. The box quantity is an ordering quantity rather than a serve count for any particular cup size. One stick makes one cup.
Freeze dried. JDE Professional describes Moccona Classic Medium Roast as a freeze dried instant coffee. That is the process the brand publishes for the range rather than an inference from the granule shape.
JDE Professional publishes the blend as Arabica and Robusta. It does not publish the ratio between the two, so we do not state one. The ingredient listing is one hundred per cent instant coffee.
JDE Professional rates the Classic Medium Roast at five on its own intensity scale. That scale is the manufacturer's and is not comparable with another brand's numbering. The roast is described as medium with a full bodied flavour and rich aroma.
Empty the contents of the stick into the cup, add boiled water and stir well. That is JDE Professional's own instruction for the format. The sticks are stored in a cool, dry place.
This line is set as GST free on our store, which is how basic food and beverage lines are normally treated in Australia. The tax setting has not been changed during this content update. If the treatment looks wrong for your account, tell us and we will have it checked rather than adjusting it here.
No country of origin appears on any source we could reach for this code. JDE Professional does list the range under a Responsible Sourcing heading, which is the brand's own programme rather than a third party certification, so we name it as theirs and claim nothing further.
