A Darker Shade for Records That Are Kept

Marbig code 2007021 is the maroon book in the plain colour refillable range, twenty clear A4 pockets behind an opaque cover, with a spiral spine that releases for pages to be swapped.

Maroon suits a file that matters but is not urgent, which is a distinction a brighter colour cannot make on its own. In the photographs the spiral spine on the outside of the book is maroon as well, so the colour shows from the spine edge and not only from the face. Each of the twenty pockets is sized for an A4 page.

Nothing in this book is glued or sealed. Release the spine and the running order can be rebuilt in place, which matters when a file is reissued rather than rewritten from scratch. Marbig publish 2008000 as the refill pocket code, so a book that runs out of room grows instead of being retired.
