Giant 50mm Clips For Bundles Too Thick For A Standard Clip

Marbig 87090 holds 100 giant paper clips, each 50mm long, made from galvanised steel.

Some paperwork outgrows an ordinary clip: a tender response with its attachments, a month of delivery dockets, a printed manual waiting for a binder. At 50mm the giant clip reaches further into the page than the small 28mm or large 33mm Marbig clips, so a thicker bundle stays together while it moves between desks. The box front states that the clips secure multiple pages together.

ACCO list the clips as galvanised steel and describe the construction as strong. The long silver loops are easy to spot on a pile of papers and easy to take off again, so bundles can be split and rebuilt without punching or stapling. For the thickest sets a fold back clip grips harder than any paper clip, and the Marbig fold back range covers that job.

Find every size in our paper clips collection, compare fold back clips for heavier bundles, browse paper clips and fasteners and the full Marbig range.

FAQs

A box of 100 giant clips. ACCO list code 87090 by the piece, and their product name and box front both state 100 clips for that piece.
ACCO publish no sheet capacity for this code. The 50mm length gives more reach than the 28mm and 33mm Marbig clips, and very thick bundles are better held with a fold back clip.
Not according to ACCO, who describe the wire as galvanised steel with no mention of chrome. The chrome in our title describes the silver appearance.
The giant clips are uncoated wire. For prints, the coloured Marbig 975262 clips have a vinyl coating that ACCO credit with keeping paper and photos free of scratches.
