Grey foolscap folders for archive runs that are not colour coded

Marbig 1108111 holds one box of one hundred grey foolscap manilla folders, made on 170gsm manilla board according to ACCO Australia's listing for this code.

Not every filing system wants to be read across a room. Grey suits a run of files that needs to be uniform and quiet rather than flagged, which is the usual requirement in archive rooms, deed storage and long term retention rather than in an active drawer. It is also a colour that leaves a printed label doing the work.

Four lines are printed on the carton photographed here and they are the whole of what Marbig claim: a board called strong and durable, corners that are rounded, a spine creased before packing so the folder opens out, and fastener positions supplied already cut. We publish those four and nothing beyond them.

Companion products for an archive run are shelved under filing and storage and archive boxes. The full colour range is listed at manilla folders, with everything from the brand at Marbig.

FAQs

You receive one box of one hundred folders. That is the quantity stated in the product title and the quantity ACCO Australia hold against code 1108111. We have not multiplied anything out to reach it.
ACCO Australia list code 1108111 on 170gsm manilla board and that is the figure on this page. The weight is not uniform across the foolscap range, so this one is transcribed from the entry for 1108111 and not from any other colour.
Marbig publish no sheet capacity for this range and we will not estimate one. The retail carton says the spine is creased in advance for increased capacity but it puts no number against that, so neither do we.
We cannot promise that. The carton says the folder is pre-cut for fasteners but Marbig publish no hole spacing, so try one fastener against one folder before you commit a whole system to it.
ACCO Australia list code 1108111 on 170gsm manilla board, the same figure they list against several of the coloured codes. Grey is a colour choice rather than a different material, and nothing on this page claims otherwise.
