Vertical Sleeve for Quick Access to a 16-Inch Laptop

The Incase Crosstown Sleeve for 16-inch Laptop in Black is a cushioned, vertical-loading Woolenex sleeve with a magnetic external slip pocket, made for laptops up to 16 inches, including the 16-inch MacBook Pro and the 15-inch MacBook Air.

Incase designed the Crosstown Sleeve to stand upright for quick access, so it sits neatly in a backpack and the laptop comes out from the top. Incase describes the construction as completely cushioned, and the Woolenex exterior is a blend of two tightly knit 300D and 600D polyester fibres that Incase describes as lightweight, weather repellent, and fade and tear resistant.

The external slip pocket closes with a magnet and holds accessory essentials such as cords and adaptors. YKK zippers and streamlined construction are designed for durability and performance, and a discreet AirTag spot hides inside the woven Incase label, ready for an AirTag you add yourself. The slim silhouette moves easily in and out of a daily bag.

The Crosstown Sleeve also comes in Limestone, and in a 14-inch size for smaller laptops. Browse our laptop bags and sleeves, add laptop accessories, or kit out a home office.

FAQs

Incase rates the sleeve for laptops up to 16 inches and names the 16-inch MacBook Pro (2019, 2021, 2023 and 2024) and the 15-inch MacBook Air M2 (2023) and M3 (2024). Internal measurements are not published, so for other brands compare your laptop with the outer size of 10.8 x .8 x 15.9 in and allow for the cushioning.
Incase made it to stand upright for easy, backpack-friendly access. The sleeve slides into a backpack the same way the laptop sits in it, and the laptop comes out from the top.
Incase says the external slip pocket carries accessory essentials like cords and adaptors, and its photos show a compact charger in it. Pocket dimensions are not published, so a large power brick may not fit.
Incase describes Woolenex as weather repellent, as well as fade and tear resistant. It does not call the sleeve waterproof, so keep it inside a bag in heavy rain.
No. Incase builds a discreet AirTag storage spot inside the internal woven label, but the AirTag itself is bought separately.
